This rPET lid is much more than just a lid - it is a double base complete with a practical tab. In practice, the flat lid is placed onto the corresponding smoothie cup, which may be filled with salad. The rPET flat lid can then be packed full of nuts or croutons separately from the salad. This means the toppings stay crunchy. And if you can’t get enough tasty toppings: an additional combi lid easily fits onto the flat lid. This offers space for additional treats, like juicy pomegranate seeds. All components are separately packaged so nothing gets soft or watered down. Especially practical: The rPET flat lid comes with a tab. This tab makes handling easier. The individual elements are cleanly separated.
rPET - 100 percent recycled material
These flat lids are made from rPET so are 100 percent recycled. What is rPET? rPET is made from plastic that is either reused in the form of post-consumer recycled materials (PCR) or post-industry recycled materials (PIR). Our flat lid is made from 50 percent PCR and PIR. The greatest benefit here is that the rPET is exclusively produced in Europe with the majority being manufactured in Germany. This means short transport routes and a lower carbon footprint.
